Bentwood Ring: Red Meranti, inlaid Fossilised Blue Coral, ZircuTi core

This beautiful and unique bentwood ring features Red Meranti, inlaid fossilised Blue Coral, and your choice of several different inner core options. The design is featured here with an exotic and unique ZircuTi 6mm core (8mm is also available). Full and half sizes 5 - 13 are available. Zircuti is a type of Damascus-style material made by layering and forging together different grades of titanium and zirconium. This unique combination results in a material with exceptional strength, corrosion resistance, and a distinctive aesthetic that includes a range of colors achieved through heat treatment or electrochemical oxidation. With 300+ different types of wood, I am happy to customise with a different species if you have one in mind, and I carry it in stock. Just ask! Please note that my bentwood rings are handmade to order. Free engraving on the metal and ceramic core options is included, to a maximum of 20 characters including spaces. Simply add your required text in the Personalisation Box. Please inquire about engravings done on wood or antler, as these require a different engraving technology done by a third party, and there will be a small fee (my cost only) and could add a few days to production time. Bentwood rings are incredibly strong, and are created by steaming, bending, and wrapping the wood in several layers. The rings will also have several finish coats that will be highly polished. A matte finish is possible, but you'll have to convey those wishes. Available widths and core materials with variable prices will be options. These are very high quality rings crafted by an experienced bentwood maker with many years of experience.

Bentwood Care:

Please do not routinely submerge your new ring in water for prolonged periods. It is highly recommended to remove it for activities such as swimming, showering/bathing, and washing dishes. Also avoid harsh abrasives and chemicals (to include excessive use of hand sanitisers). Acetone is particularly destructive.

Sizing:

Ring sizing is provided in standard US measure. Sizing is the sole responsibility of the customer, so please be certain. Note that wider rings rings will fit a bit more snugly. Your best option for accurate sizing is a jeweler, or ring sizers you can purchase online. All of my rings come with comfort fit profiling on the inner core. This is a slight radius at both edges that greatly improves comfort. Please be sure to mention this and also your desired ring width to any jeweler that is consulted. Because my rings are handmade to order, fees will be charged for any exchanges due to sizing (to include new shipping charges).
